Viego is our work jacket for artists. Like a blank canvas, it's up to you to make it your own. It is perfect for summer thanks to its French fabric, breathable and flexible. To complete the look, we chose to use slightly contrasting stitching and natural French corozo buttons to give this piece some relief.

We find all the attributes of a traditional work jacket: a straight cut, three patch pockets, visible buttoning with natural corozo buttons, an unlined interior and folded seams (double) for durability.

Our work jacket has been entirely designed and imagined in our botanical HQ in Brittany, France, and crafted with passion and mastery by our partner factory in Europe. We went to a great French weaver to get the fabric. Our workshops have all been audited by independent organizations and we regularly check the quality of working conditions and environmental standards of our partners.

Material & care
Viego is made from a blend of cotton and linen certified by BCI (Better Cotton Initiative) and Oeko-Tex. Linen is an ideal material for spring and summer because it is thermoregulatory: it gives a feeling of freshness in summer while absorbing moisture and perspiration. Its mix with cotton allows an absolute comfort as well as a nice maintenance of the fabric. It is a "bachette" type fabric: a thick cotton fabric with great resistance. The mix of cotton and linen gives the fabric an authentic workwear look. A detail that makes the difference: its corozo buttons with a beautiful burned effect on the edge, pocket flaps to avoid losing anything. Viego can be machine washed at 30°C and dried on a line, after being re-shaped, in the sun, between two apple trees (or on a hanger at home, if not).
