- Description
Proud of our history, this winter we wanted to make a wool jacket in an authentic heritage style. We did this by taking the cut of our genuine work jackets to keep a modern look and by looking for a fabric with a real history. We found the perfect material for this: a French wool with a very raw look that reminds us of the artisanal fabrics made for shepherds.
+Fit and sizing
We find all the attributes of our genuine work jacket: a straight cut, three patch pockets, visible buttoning with natural corozo buttons, a non lined interior and double folded seams for a solidity to all proof. We advise you to take your usual size.
Finn is 6’3’’ (1,91m) tall and wears the size M
+Manufacturing
Our wool jacket was entirely designed in our botanical HQ in Brittany and fashioned in Europe by Miglena's expert hands. We went to one of the best French weavers to find the fabric. Our workshops have all been audited by independent organizations and we regularly check the good working conditions and environmental standards of our partners.

100% wool
Hand wash or machine wash: hand wash cycle/wool cycle, cold water, with a soft laundry detergent, minimum spin (600) or none, dry flat.
Material & care
We used a type of wool called "Burel" made in France by one of our historical suppliers who has been working with these materials for over 70 years. Burel wool was originally made in Portugal from the virgin wool of sheep from the Serra da Estrela, which is known to be strong and durable. The wool was then crushed and boiled to further strengthen its resistant properties. It can be washed gently by hand in cold water or by a professional dry cleaner.
