Imagine yourself on a boat in the middle of the North Sea, it's cold and the wind is blowing without stopping. Luckily, when you set off you remembered to take your trusty sailor's turtleneck sweater with you, which is the only thing that can help you to face the elements... Don't worry, you don't need to be a sailor to enjoy our Silvir sweater.
This jumper was made in collaboration with the Frank Shop located on the small island of Rörö in Sweden. You'll find the label on the collar that symbolises this special collaboration.
With its traditional tapers (tapers are patterns formed by knitting techniques) and its wide turtleneck you can wear it in the city as well as in the country.
+Fit and sizing
The cut is generous in accordance with the marine jumpers we were inspired by. The shoulders are drooping but the arm opening has been worked on to remain very comfortable.
Finn is 6’3’’ (1,91m) tall and wears the size M
Our Silvir jumper was entirely conceived and designed in our botanical HQ in Brittany. Then we went to one of the best Italian spinners to get its yarn and had it knitted in Europe by the expert hands of our partner company.
100% virgin wool
Material & care
The knit of our sweater is made of 100% new wool: this is the wool from the very first shearing of a lamb. This first shearing of wool is the finest and softest wool taken from a sheep during its life. Virgin wool is naturally breathable in cold and hot weather, water repellent (protects against moisture), durable and insulating. It can be washed gently by hand in cold water or machine washed on a hand/wool programme, cold, with a mild detergent such as Mir Laine and a minimum spin (600). Then dry flat to prevent the knitwear from deforming.
