A sailor sweater like no other.
The Sylas sweater is our interpretation of the sailor sweater we all know. Made of 100% merino wool with an original and clean knit. We asked our knitter to develop a custom stitch where the stripes come out slightly in relief to recreate the famous marine pattern.
+Fit and sizing
The Sylas sweater is cut straight. The shoulders are mounted, the collar is made of double knit and ribbed edges are present at the cuffs and bottom of the body.

+Manufacturing
Our Sylas sweater was entirely designed and imagined in our botanical HQ in Brittany. Then, we went to Austria to get the yarn and knitted it in Europe at Cristina's. Our workshops have all been audited by independent organizations and we regularly check the quality of working conditions and environmental standards of our partners.
100% virgin wool
Material & care
The knit of our sweater is made of 100% virgin wool: it is the wool from the very first shearing of a lamb. This first shearing of wool is the finest and softest wool taken from a sheep during its life. Virgin wool is naturally breathable in cold and hot weather, water repellent (which protects against moisture), durable and insulating. It can be washed gently by hand in cold water or by machine with a hand/wool program, cold, with a mild detergent such as Mir Laine and a minimum spin (600). We advise you to dry it flat to prevent your garment from deforming.
