For Pagoa we wanted the most ecological fabric possible that blends both organic and recycled fibers. Unlike standard cotton, organic cotton consumes much less water, is more sustainable and its cultivation without pesticides or chemicals preserves the health of the workers who grow it as well as the environment. The use of recycled fibers saves the use of natural resources, is less energy intensive, and therefore emits less CO2 than the production of a new garment. Pagoa can be machine washed at 30°C and dried hanging on a thread, after being put back in shape, in the sun, between two apple trees (or on a hanger at home, if not).
