PRUNILLE DENIM FLARE
€160.00
- Description
Although Le Mont Saint Michel is historically known for its work jackets, the brand has also produced jeans in the past, particularly in the 1970s. With the aim of remaining faithful to our old models, we have developed a pair of jeans using eco-responsible Italian denim.
+Fit and sizing
We kept the quality of the fabric, the single stitch on the legs, and the chain stitch on the hem from our archive denims. But to bring it up to date we decided on a flare cut: slightly flared at the bottom.
Laura is 5’10’’ (1,78m) tall and wears the size 38

+Manufacturing
Our Prunille denim was entirely designed and imagined in our botanical HQ in Brittany. Then, we went to get its fabric from one of the best Italian weavers and had it made in Tunisia by the expert hands of our partner company's teams. Our workshops have all been audited by independent organizations and we regularly check the quality of working conditions and environmental standards of our partners.

100% cotton
Material & care
For Prunille, we wanted the best denim on the market and it is at Candiani in Italy that we found our happiness. It is simply the best in terms of quality and environment. Moreover, 40% of the cotton used is BCI certified (Better Cotton Initiative, a label that guarantees the sustainability of the cotton used) and the Italian factory is a pioneer in sustainable denim technologies. Our denim is sanforized at our fabric producer (i.e. the fabric is treated so that it does not shrink in the wash) and then lightly washed again by our workshop. For the first wash, we advise you to let it soak for ½ hour in warm water with a capful of detergent for dark fabrics, then rinse it with clear water and let it dry in the open air. For subsequent washes, you can wash it in the washing machine at 30°C.
