Piper is THE adventurer's short par excellence: two large gusseted pockets on the sides to put all your finds in, slightly contrasting stitching, a high paperbag waist with a removable belt, not to mention its beautiful French linen/cotton fabric to face the strong summer heat (because yes: even in Brittany it happens to us to be hot!)
+Manufacturing
Our Piper shorts were entirely designed and imagined in our botanical HQ in Brittany. Then, we went to get its fabric from one of the best French weavers to have it made in Europe by the expert hands of our partner company's teams. Our workshops have all been audited by independent organizations and we regularly check the quality of working conditions and environmental standards of our partners.
61% cotton 39% linen certified BCI (Better Cotton Initiative) and Oeko-Tex
Material & care
Our Piper shorts are made from a blend of cotton and linen that is BCI (Better Cotton Initiative) and Oeko-Tex certified. Linen is an ideal material for summer because it is thermoregulatory: it gives a feeling of freshness in summer while absorbing moisture and perspiration. Its mixture with cotton allows an absolute comfort as well as a nice maintenance of the fabric. It is a "bachette" type fabric: a thick cotton fabric with great resistance. The mix of cotton and linen gives the fabric an authentic workwear look. The detail that makes the difference? Its French corozo buttons with a beautiful burned effect on the edge. Piper is machine washable at 30°C and can be hung to dry on a line, after having been reshaped, in the sun, between two apple trees (or on a hanger at home, if not).
