For those who don’t know you yet, can you introduce yourself in a few words ?

What was the starting point for your creative adventure ?

I’ve watched my mother make jewelry since I was very little. Being

passionate about fashion, it was obvious that I would eventually “fall into the pot”. So I tried my hand at making

a ring, and I was immediately captivated.

What was your initial background ?

As I’m only 22, I don’t think I come from a specific world, but rather a multitude of worlds,

often very different. Most of my learning was self-taught, but my mother was also my first influence.

first influence.

How would you describe your brand’s identity today ?

Antinomic : a kind of clash between the rough and the refined, the detailed and the coarse.

What do you think a ring reveals about the person wearing it ?

It reveals a personality trait that clothes can’t always express, while remaining intimate.

What gestures and techniques give birth to your rings ?

I work by hand. First I draw sketches, then I use a technique known as “lost-wax casting”. This involves sculpting a piece of jewelry in wax, then casting it in the desired metal. Finally, I take care of the finishing touches and polishing.

On average, how long does it take to make a piece ?

Given that I mainly make one-off pieces, I’d say it takes about a month to complete a piece, but this can vary greatly.

Is there a material or texture that you particularly like to explore ?

Despite my passion for silver, I think bronze is my favorite material to work with. It evolves over time, can be patinated, and offers a wide range of possibilities. On the other hand, it oxidizes quickly, which sometimes makes it difficult to wear.

What inspires you on a daily basis, and what feeds your imagination ?

My inspirations are many and varied: they can come from sculpture, photography, cinema or history. But I’d say they come above all from Flemish painting of the 15th and 16th centuries, with artists like Bruegel or Bosch, who perfectly depict human beings in their folly as well as in their wisdom, creating a vision of the world that I find more realistic.

How did you go about creating the rings specially designed for us?

I approached this project with the desire to create something strong, minimalist, mixed and above all timeless.

« If I had to sum up my collaboration with Le Mont Saint Michel in one word, it would be authenticity. That's exactly what your work jackets evoke in me - a sincerity in the material, in the story. It's also what I wanted to convey through these rings. »
