The Mont Saint Michel is, before being a century-old brand, a monument confronted with wind, marshes, and heavy rain. And since Pataugas has been exploring natural and urban paths for the pleasure of all walkers for more than 70 years, it is quite natural that our two universes met for a collaboration that emphasizes functionality and the outdoors.
+Fit and sizing

Material & care
The LMSM x Pataugas Authentic Sneaker has been made from British Millerain waxed cotton with outstanding waterproof and water-repellent properties. The history of waxed cotton begins in England on the high seas ...... In the 15th century, sailors were at the mercy of rain, wind and waves and their boats often offered little protection against the elements. Sailors came up with the idea of treating their sailcloth with linseed oil, which prevented the sailcloth from getting wet: the waxed cloth was born! British Millerain refined the technique and used kerosene, which offered better weather resistance and breathability. British Millerain waxed cotton resists to all weather conditions, including Breton storms! For the maintenance of your canvas shoes, we advise you to clean them with a dry cloth.
