60 years ago, Le Mont St Michel was already making pea jackets! At that time, we even said "Mariniere"
This year, we are re-launching this archival pattern, in a beautiful French fabric from organic farming and recycling. A sailor's legend, a functional and above all sustainable product, the Le Mont St Michel pea jacket is one of the long line of essential products you will love to live with!
+Fit and sizing
We have modernized the cut so that it can be worn daily, the collar is straight with a traditional opening (with a button inside so that it does not get caught in the mesh of your nets) and the cut is wide enough to be comfortable.
Our pea jacket is unisex, but its size is quite large, for a woman we advise you to take it one size smaller than your usual size
Our pea jacket was entirely designed and imagined in our botanical HQ in Brittany. Then, we went to get its fabric from one of the best French weavers (for the navy and denim models) and from Portugal (for the white model) to have it made in Portugal by Rosa's expert hands. Our workshops have all been audited by independent organizations and we regularly check the quality of working conditions and environmental standards of our partners.
Marie & Alexandre's note
«The pea jacket is a historical garment of our brand and we even found old advertisements that praised it. We are proud to be able to offer quality jackets again!»

Material & care
Our navy and denim jackets pea were designed with the most eco-friendly fabric we've used to date. It is a blend of recycled cotton and polyester woven in France in a factory that is over 120 years old. The weaver has calculated that compared to the same fabric made in China, 5 times less CO² is used. Of course this fabric is certified Oeko-tex Standard 100 as well as Global Recycled Standard. Our white pea jackets are also very environmentally friendly, they are made of organic cotton and recycled cotton. They can be machine washed at 30°C and dried hanging on a thread, after having been reshaped, in the sun, between two apple trees (or on a hanger at home, if not).
